Aleris - (30 December) Delaware Bankruptcy Court Judge Brendan Shannon approves motion to extend exclusivity period for filing a plan of reorganization to 07 June 2010.
Aventine Renewables - (04 January) Aventine seeks approval of its disclosure statement during a 13 January 2010 hearing before Judge Kevin Gross. The company's plan of reorganization considers recapitalizing the company with a new secured bond of around USD 100m backstopped by the ad hoc committee of 10% bond holders and with a new USD 30m working capital revolver. Two objections to the POR have been filed.

Magna Entertainment - (06 January) US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware postponed the auction for MEC's Maryland Ventures to 21 January.
Muzak - (12 January) US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware confirms Muzak's plan of reorganization. The company plans to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection by the end of January.

R. H. Donnelley- (12 January) US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware confirmed R. H. Donneley's plan of reorganization. The debtor anticipates emerging from bankruptcy protection by the end of January.
Six Flags - (11 December) US Bankruptcy Court Judge Christopher Sontchi approved Six Flags' (Premier International Holdings) disclosure statement.
Smurfit-Stone Container - (04 January) Smurfit-Stone seeks approval of an exit facility term loan facility and continued use of cash collateral during a 14 January 2010 hearing. A disclosure statement hearing is scheduled for 29 January.
Spansion - (07 January) Spansion hearing scheduled on $500m new debt offering arranged by Barclays. The Barclays offering is in addition to the Silver Lake-backed $100m equity rights offering.
Visteon - (21 January) Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors' hearing on motion to conduct discovery of the debtor. Visteon's disclosure statement hearing is scheduled for 28 January.
W.R. Grace - (04 January) W.R. Grace begins closing arguments on dispute over lender impairment. Arguments will be presented over whether lenders backing a $500m JPMorgan-led unsecured credit facility are impaired in the company's Chapter 11 Bankruptcy case.
